How a New Burger Is Created at Chumba

Creating a new burger is not something we rush.

Most ideas start in a simple way a thought, a flavor combination, or even something we tasted somewhere else. From there, we begin to experiment.

The first step is balance.

We think about how different ingredients will work together. A good burger should feel complete, not overloaded. Every part needs to have a reason to be there.

Then we test.

Sometimes the first version works well. Other times, it needs small changes less sauce, a different topping, or a new way of cooking something. It’s a process of trying, adjusting, and trying again.

We also keep things practical.

A burger might taste good in theory, but it also needs to work in a real setting inside a food truck, during busy hours, and for different customers.

Feedback plays a big role.

We listen to what people say. If something feels too heavy, too simple, or just not quite right, we take that seriously. It helps us improve.

Not every idea becomes part of the menu.

Some stay as experiments, and that’s okay. What matters is that the final version feels right simple, balanced, and enjoyable.

When a new burger is ready, it becomes part of our story.
